Tri4Him Youth and Junior Teams
Transforming young athletes to reach their God-given potential

Our youth and junior teams are organized and coordinated at the local level by Tri4Him's USAT-certified triathlon coaches. This exciting team’s objective is to provide young athletes with an opportunity to develop their skills and fitness and take their performance to the highest level they wish to achieve, through a FUN learning team atmosphere.

Whether an athlete is new to the sport of triathlon and just trying it out or is already setting charting a path to the Olympics; this team will meet them where they are and take them as far as their abilities and commitment allow. The team also welcomes swimmers, cyclist, and runners wanting to round out their fitness in the outseason of their primary sport.

Transformers

Transformers (ages 8 - 15)

The goal of Transformers is to teach kids fundamental skills required for each triathlon discipline while developing general fitness, character, a love for the sport, and healthy habits. Team members will enjoy a team environment and have fun in group workouts while developing their abilities and gaining competitive experience. Athletes in this age group will have the opportunity to compete at regional and national races.

Breakaway

Breakaway (ages 14 - 18)

Being a member of Breakaway allows athletes to further develop their skills and fitness in each discipline. Members will thrive in the team environment and develop friendships and training buddies that will last a lifetime. Breakaway competes regularly in local sprint races. Junior Elite members will travel to regional and national ITU draft-legal (Olympic-style) races as a part of the developmental pipeline training to participate in Project 2016 or 2020.

Whether as a member of Transformers or Breakaway, all Tri4Him young athletes will learn to have strong character, sportsmanship, responsibility, respect for teammates and fellow competitors.
